Alex had a friend over and they asked if I could take
some pics of them. I got Alex to pose by herself some
too and this was one of my favorites. Honest, she is
only 12!

Drove out to Utah to visit Katie, Bud and Kids. We had a great
time and we got to ski, snowmobile and sled down a wicked,
winding, snow covered road up by their cabin in the mountains.
Alex is pretty jealous of Madi's skiing abilities though.
The Greenwoods were great hosts! Thanx guys!

In August 2007, the Iowa Hawkeyes were playing Northern IL
at Soldier Field in Chicago. There was also a Bears football
game and a Cubs game in town that weekend so the Family all
went for a weekend Sports Extravaganza! It was Iowa Hawkeye
day at the Cubs game so Dad Stamler bought everyone these
great Iowa T's in Cubs colors. We definitely stood out! It was
amazing to see how many Hawkeye fans were in town for the
weekend. Everywhere we went it was "GO HAWKS!" It was a
great weekend and to top it all off the Hawks WON!

Our new monster Miley

Yes, we added to our family this summer and our PomaPoo,
that's pomaranian / poodle mix Miley arrived August 2007. She
may look cute and innocent but this little monster is driving us
crazy! Why did we okay I feel like I needed another dog when we
already have a wonderful dog who is potty trained and doesn't rip
everything she gets her paws on to shreds! She weighed less than
two pounds when we got her and she was only supposed to get
to be around 6lbs and she is already 9.5 lbs. She is now ten months
old and is STILL using my house as her toilet. But isn't she
CUTE! NOT!

Paintballing

Actually, just as bad! With most of the family in town, the
guys decided to have a paintball fight at the farm. After
several hours and thousands of paintballs later they were a
mess and were bragging about who had the most quarter sized
welts all over their bodies! LOL! They looked painful to me!

Alex's 12th birthday

We had a family gathering for Alex's 12th birthday at the

Stamler Farm pond and Alex and her cousin Emily had a

little icing fight!

She Walks On Water!

Okay, first Katie & Bud started blogging, then Karla & Thad, then Becca & Andrew. So I guess we didn't want to be left out of the blogging world. I didn't know where to start our blog so I made a slideshow of pics from our past. Feel free to take a look! I'm still looking for old pics before digital to scan and add to it. Thought I would actually start posting pics from this summer 2007 since it was a pretty good summer. I think the perfect pics to start out this blog are these pics showing how amazing our daughter is...Yes she walks on water! As you can see, she has been practicing and she is getting quite good at it! We are so very proud! LOL!
